These pieces were designed as a subtle but dramatic accent for the private home of a customer. Many cane designs and techniques allow a
glass artist to create repeated and geometric patterns within a blown piece. This cane design was intended for that purpose. Notice the multiple spirals within the detailed image of the cane plate below.
